Terms of Service

These terms apply to any website, landing page, web app, or maintenance work carried out by Side Scaling for a client.

Quotes and scope

All work is quoted individually based on project scope, as we don't publish fixed prices. A quote is agreed with you before work begins, and covers the scope discussed on the initial call.

Changes to scope

Requests outside the agreed scope may affect timeline or cost. Where possible, we'll flag this before carrying out the extra work.

Payment

Payment terms are agreed per project. Ownership of the final delivered site or application transfers to the client once payment is complete, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Maintenance plans

Maintenance plans cover ongoing updates, fixes and hosting support as agreed at signup. What's included is confirmed with each client individually before the plan starts.

Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate content, timely feedback, and any third-party accounts or credentials needed to complete the work.

Liability

Side Scaling will carry out work with reasonable skill and care, but isn't liable for losses arising from third-party services, hosting providers, or content supplied by the client.
